This professional development day is designed to bring together experiential educators to make connections, learn new skills and have fun with our colleagues. During the day we have a sequence of activities and initiatives lead by practitioners from our sponsoring organizations. We also invite you to contribute an activity. The Playday is open to environmental educators, teachers, youth leaders, camp staff, counselors and anyone who practices experiential education. Please join us for Playday 2006.

Schedule:

8:30 – 9:00: Check-in/Coffee and tea
9:00: Let the Play begin!
Noon: Lunch (bring a sack lunch)
1:00 – 4:00: Let the Play continue!
4:00: Adios

  • There is no registration fee
  • Persons with special needs are encouraged to contact Craig Fenske with WSU Extension by February 3 to request accommodation.

Playday Goals:

    • Make connections in the field of experiential education
    • Learn new initiatives/games, skills and techniques
    • Create an annual event to bring ee practitioners together in this region
    • Play and have FUN
