WSU 4-H Challenge Trainer Training

The Ropes Course Trainer and the Portable Trainer Workshops are comprehensive experiential trainer training workshops intended to prepare leaders for leading groups in experiential activities. Participants learn skills in building teams, games leadership, problem solving and debriefing to reach group and individual goals in safe settings.

In return for the training, you will be required to apply your training with groups in the 4-H Challenge program. This may be done by enrolling your existing group in the 4-H Challenge program or by volunteering with other 4-H Challenge groups.

As a 4-H Challenge facilitator, you will be able to:

  • Lead groups on the Bellingham 4-H Challenge Ropes Course
  • Check out portable Challenge equipment
  • Obtain WSU Challenge Leader liability coverage
  • Have fun developing new skills

Note: Challenge Ropes Trainer Workshop is scheduled at this time.
