This guide is the first in the series of three for youth. It can be
used by youth in any grade based on their project skills and expertise. All
activities in the guide have several parts. Each guide includes an achievement
program to encourage youth to learn more about dairy while developing important
life skills. Main topics include: selection and judging, fitting and showing,
feed, milk and milking, and management and records. Illustrated.

in your 4-H Record Book (unless otherwise noted). In this section
you will be recording date, what you did and time spent with
the
project
