*Completed the Manual titled: Integrated Pest Management for Raspberries, A Guide to Sampling and Decision-Making for Key Raspberry Pests in Northwest Washington. 100 copies of this manual will be duplicated and made available to raspberry growers in Northwest Washington through WSU Cooperative Extension in Bellingham, Washington. This manual will also soon be available in electronic format accessible via the WSU Whatcom County Cooperative Extension homepage: www.whatcom.wsu.edu.
*Completed the Project Evaluation component (Task 6) as described in detail in the 4/23/98 progress report to Ecology.
*The temperature data loggers and WSU codling moth computer prediction models have been successfully transferred to an apple grower who served as a mentor in the Nooksack IPM Project. He has taken the lead on maintaining this key insect management system and communicating with cooperating growers who have instrumentation in their orchards.
The final remaining task of this project yet to be completed is an IPM Manual for Apple Growers. This has not been achieved because the project manager has a full time commitment from April through September, 1998 managing the WSU On Farm Raspberry Research Station in Lynden, which was an outgrowth of this IPM project. The coordinator will complete this final task of the project from October through December, 1998.
