"Greener" Garden Party
What is a “Greener” Garden Party?
A “Greener” Garden Party is a fun way to get to know your neighbors better while learning “green” gardening practices your neighborhood can use to be more environmentally friendly.
WSU Whatcom County Extension is providing an opportunity for you to host your own informative garden workshop--right in your own backyard. You choose what you want to learn about—we’ll find the right experts to send for your party.
How it Works:
The host invites friends & neighbors, promotes the workshop, and is the contact person for the Extension office. A minimum of 10 to a maximum of 25 attendees. Hosts will receive a wonderful garden themed thank you gift.
Cost:
The program is FREE!
If you like, hosts can provide refreshments for their guests (coffee/cookies/whatever) that’s up to you. The Greener Garden Party will provide appropriate resource materials tailored to your topic.
