Pest Management in Whatcom County
Pests and diseases are found in many areas of our lives: on plants and in soil in our gardens, in our cupboards, eating the wood of our houses, or crawling across the dining room floor. Alternately, there are many critters out there that are beneficial to our world by eating or parasitizing those pests.
Friends and Foes is an article published in the monthly “Weeders Digest”, the monthly newsletter of the Whatcom County Master Gardeners. Articles have been written by Todd Murray, Kristine Schlamp, and Colleen Burrows in an attempt to answer questions about pests currently of concern in the community.
If you have a suggestion for a future “Friends and Foes” article, please send an email to Colleen Burrows at cburrows@wsu.edu.
