Wilderness Box - A K-8 Wilderness
curriculum and a box with educational materials is available for
check out by classroom teachers and outdoor educators. This resource
promotes awareness and appreciation of the cultural, environmental
and experiential values of Wilderness. Curriculum and activities
are tied to a collection of instructional aids including skulls,
skins, puppets, maps, books, and videos. Contact North Cascades

No Trace - A national education program called Leave No
Trace (LNT) whose mission is to educate wildland user groups, federal
agencies and the public about minimum-impact traveling and camping.

Northwest
Interpretive Association - A non-profit organization that
works in cooperation with several public land management agencies
in operating educational book stores at visitor sites. Stop by one
of the Forest Service Visitor Centers, located in Glacier on State
Route 542 or in Sedro Woolley on State Route 20, to view the selection
