At Hovander Homestead Park, the Native Plant Garden is located across the grass lawn to the front door of the Homestead house. The Native Plant Garden was created to showcase the beautiful plants of the Northwest.

Recent projects for the garden include - creating a pamphlet filled with information about the plants and native plant gardening, a sign for the new garden section, and additional plants.
